I know this is off the topic but, for some strange reason this caught my attention because I feel that people are becoming more lazier everyday! This is my own opinion... but seriously come on people a luggage cup holder. Why can't you hold you on cup with your own hands!

I agree with you that people are becoming lazier, but this particular gadget I actually think is pretty smart! Technology is supposed to ease the pressure from our lives but often it accomplishes just the opposite. When you compare life fifty years ago to life today, a tremendous increase in pressure and stress becomes apparent. Much of this increase is due to advancements in technology and communication. Our generation expects everything to be instant and thus we have very little patience and we have become lazy. However, I do not think that this is a result of the gadget pictured above. Fast food, cars, cell phones, and texting all attribute to decreasing patience levels and increasing laziness. The coffee holder, on the other hand, is a device created for the convenience of travelers who need both their hands for holding tickets and documents, opening doors, ect., and don't want their coffee spilled all over them. Personally, I think it's pretty smart and don't think it has anything to do with laziness.
ReplyDeleteOk this is really lazy. LOL. I know i'm lazy but come on this is crazy. I mean this is pretty ingenious for people that are really busy and have a million and one things in their hands and can't carry a cup of coffee. This is perfect for new yorkers.
ReplyDeleteTo the question (or statement) of why you can't they hold a coffee cup in their hands, maybe their hands were busy with having an iPod in one hand and a cell phone in another, haha. I think in our society, everyone wants everything to be "convenient". I say technology is a big part of leading to conveniency. Many products need more than one feature or function, thus making it easier on us. All in all, this luggage coffee holder is pretty lazy, but I wouldn't be surprised if I see someone using this in person.
